Seasonal Shiftings: Consistency

Before I start I want everyone to repeat this prayer

“ I am enough, I am called, blessed and highly favored and A child of the most high living God,”Amen and Amen!

Kenny Dasinger once said “ Being persistent may lead you to the door but consistency is the key which unlocks it “ When we think about consistency we tend to think about the result that comes out of being consistent, right? Like going to the gym and being consistent to receive the results that you are looking forward to right?! We have all been there, but when we think about our walk with Christ what does that consistency look like? The Biblical definition of consistency is the act of living by the same principles. It should include the things that God expects out of us to do such as: Daily prayer, Daily time in the word. But it doesn’t just include that, that Spiritual consistency also includes what you do and how you act when no one is watching. You can’t be in church every week, worshipping and praying for a change but once you get that opportunity to be “free“ you’re a different person, no it doesn’t work like that. Titus 2:7-8 says Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put toshame, having nothing evil to say about us.we cannot be consistent with our spiritual walk when we decide to, but it needs to be every minute of the day in order to maintain a proper walk with Christ. Needless to say, we are NOT perfect at all, but the effort put into being consistent makes a big difference because God knows your true intentions and your heart. God expects consistency from us because he is ALWAYS consistent.

“I give all my battles to you Lord, guide me through whatever path and allow me to consistently listen to your voice as the worldly things try to distract me , allow me to always remember that my Godly father will never lead astray .. Amen
